Anxiety & Stress

Anxiety and stress can affect nearly every part of daily life, even for people who appear capable and high-functioning on the outside. You may find yourself constantly overthinking, feeling emotionally exhausted, struggling to relax, or carrying a persistent sense of pressure that’s difficult to turn off. Over time, stress can begin to impact relationships, sleep, concentration, confidence, and your overall sense of wellbeing. Therapy offers a space to slow down, better understand what you’re carrying, and develop healthier ways of coping and responding.

Many people experiencing anxiety are used to pushing through, minimizing their own needs, or feeling responsible for holding everything together. In therapy, we’ll work collaboratively to explore the patterns, experiences, and stressors contributing to overwhelm while building tools that feel realistic and supportive for your everyday life. Sessions may focus on managing anxious thoughts, perfectionism, burnout, life transitions, relationship stress, or the emotional toll of constantly feeling “on.”

My approach is warm, thoughtful, and grounded in evidence-based care. Together, we’ll create space not only for symptom relief, but also for greater self-understanding, balance, and emotional resilience. Therapy is not about becoming a different person; it’s about helping you feel more connected to yourself, more supported, and better equipped to navigate life with steadiness and compassion.

I use evidence-based interventions to help you learn how to challenge and reframe unhelpful thinking habits. We will work towards more balanced and healthy thinking as well as effective coping skills to manage life’s worries and stresses.
